EVAC FALL SPORT TRYOUTS

Please find your sport below for all tryout information. IF YOU CANNOT MAKE TRYOUTS CONTACT THE COACH OR SPORT COORDINATOR ASAP!

EVAC asks that all athletes complete registration before trying out if at all possible. This includes a physical which can be done on a walk-in basis at your local urgent care if needed.

 HS Flag Football Tryouts

 Who: HS boys 9th-12th grade

What: HS Flag Football Tryouts

When: August 7 and August 8th from 6-7:15pm

Where: Tibshraeny Park - 270 N Cottonwood St. Chandler, AZ 85225

Attendance at only one tryout is required but attendance at both is encouraged. Practices will begin shortly after tryouts and games will begin the week of Sept 8th.

Boys Varsity Soccer Tryouts - COMPLETED

Who:  HS boys 9th-12th grade

What:  Three tryouts will be offered for boys interested in playing high school soccer in the fall.  Players MUST attend at least one tryout date to play. It is recommended athletes come to as many as possible. If you cannot make any of these dates please contact coach Eddy.

JH Coed Soccer Tryouts - COMPLETED

Who:  JH girls and boys 6th - 8th grade

What:  Two tryouts will be offered for boys & girls interested in playing JH coed soccer in the fall.  Players MUST attend at least one tryout date to play. It is recommended athletes come to both if possible. If you cannot make either of these dates please contact coach Hay.

Cross Country Clinics/Tryouts - COMPLETED

EVAC is planning on fielding both mens and womens varsity cross country teams this fall! Starting in August, athletes train several mornings each week to run 5K races with opportunities for individual and team medals. This is also an excellent conditioning option for athletes planning on playing basketball in the winter season.

When:  Tuesday, July 22 from 6:30-7:30am

Thursday, July 24 from 6:30-7:30am

Where: Meet Coach Jonna by the sand volleball courts at Freestone Park - 1045 E Juniper Road Gilbert, AZ 85234

***Note: The minimum requirement for joining the team is a 5k time of 30 minutes (female) and 28 minutes (male). If EVAC does not receive enough response from athletes, there will be no teams.
