Work Athletics Camps/Club Team Opportunities

Work Athletics is an organization offering basketball development opportunities in the Mesa area.  Leah Strittmatter has trained many of our EVAC athletes including some currently playing at the college level. Boys H.S. Basketball Camp 2024

AZ HEAT/Coach McAvoy



When: June 10-13 / 9am-11:30am


Who: Boys planning on playing high school level basketball in the 2024-2025 season.


Location:  Arizona Athletic Grounds - 6321 S Ellsworth Rd Suite 146, Mesa, AZ 85212


Cost: $95/player, includes a camp t-shirt

Further your skills in ball handling, shooting, passing, defense, as well as teamwork and character building. We are going to have a blast!


Theme Verse - Isaiah 40:29-31  “He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even the youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on the wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not be faint.” 


What to Bring: basketball, tennis/basketball shoes, and a water bottle.


McAvoy Family Ministries/AZ Heat's Nate McAvoy began coaching 30 years ago, and has been a teacher for 25 years, including homeschooling of his own 7 boys. He is a Youth Pastor, current Varsity Coach for EVAC, and active homeschooling dad.
