High School Girls Sand Volleyball
Ages
High school girl students in 9th-12th grade. Team size and players on the roster will be determined by the coaches.
Season dates
Practices usually start in beginning of February, and regular season games kick off end of February. The season continues into middle or end of April, with postseason tournaments wrapping up around the end of April and first part of May.
tryouts
All athletes MUST complete Registration prior to tryouts.
Tryouts dates are typically announced in January. Please be sure to subscribe to our Announcements and download the EVAC app to stay up to date on all EVAC info.
PRACTICES
Practice locations are typically at Gilbert Regional or Freestone. Practices are typically 2 hours long with 3 to 5 practices a week. Most practices are midweek in the afternoon or evenings and sometimes there are practices Saturday morning.
Clinics
Most clinics and tryouts take place in the weeks/month leading up to season start. Check the Announcements page and subscribe to the Announcements to know when those are scheduled.
Costs
There are typically three fees for each season: team fees, uniform fees, and tournament fees. Team fees include CAA league fee, estimated costs for facilities and referees, and insurance and other administrative costs. Uniforms are player-owned, meaning that at the start of each season, players that are rostered are required to purchase a uniform to be a part of the team, but the uniform is then owned by the player and is the player's responsibility. If the player is a returning player for that team and the uniforms have not changed, the player can use the same uniform from the previous season. Tournaments are a separate cost vary based on the tournament location.

$400 team fee, $50 uniforms, $50 for additional tournaments
