STATE CHAMPS! EVAC Varsity Girls Sand Volleyball Takes the Title

The EVAC Varsity Girls Sand Volleyball team has done it—they are the 2025 Team Sand Volleyball State Champions!


After a season filled with intense competition, incredible growth, and unwavering encouragement, our girls ended it all with a thrilling championship performance. This team’s journey has been marked by unity, grit, and a drive to honor the Lord through their effort and teamwork.

And what made this season even more special? The team was led by an inspiring father-daughter coaching duo—Alex and Ellison Roberts. Their leadership was grounded in encouragement, strategy, and a deep investment in each athlete. Ellison, a former EVAC athlete herself, brought firsthand experience and contagious energy to every match. Together, this coaching team helped shape a culture that led to a championship.

In the championship match:

  • The 2’s pair came back and defeated the only team they had lost to all season—an epic redemption moment.

  • Lizzie delivered a monster block that set the tone and brought a huge momentum swing.

  • Cambria came through with killer spikes that overwhelmed the opposition.

  • Hope served with calm consistency, helping the team take an early lead and hold it.

  • Aubrey, Lily, Vivian, and Ella poured out encouragement and high-level competition all year, sharpening their teammates through every drill and match.

  • Abbi and Lexie were the heartbeat of the sidelines today—keeping spirits high, teammates locked in, and everyone ready.

  • And in a moment that perfectly captured the heart of this team, Trinity, known for her servant leadership all season long, delivered a flawless set to Lizzie, who crushed the final point to seal the state title.


This championship wasn’t just about talent. It was about teamwork, support, and playing for something bigger than themselves. Our girls represented EVAC with strength, humility, and joy—and we couldn’t be more proud.
