EVAC Weekly Wrap-Up (Sep 8–13): Tournament Runs and Big Wins

The 2025–2026 season is off to a strong start, and this past week was filled with exciting games and tournament play. Here’s how EVAC teams performed:

Game Highlights (Sep 8–13)

Varsity Boys Soccer

  • Took home a big 3–1 win over ASU Prep Polytechnic, improving their regional standing with back-to-back victories.

Junior High Baseball

  • Put together another impressive week with a 7–3 win over Dobson Academy and a 5–0 shutout against Legacy Traditional Chandler.

  • Now 5–1 overall and riding a five-game win streak.

Varsity Girls Volleyball

  • Earned a clean 3–0 sweep over ASU Prep Phoenix early in the week.

  • At the Spike It Tournament, they stormed through pool and bracket play, finishing as runner-up in the Gold Division championship match after a hard-fought final against Heritage Academy Maricopa.

JV Girls Volleyball

  • Beat EDUPRIZE Gilbert 2–0 during the week to stay undefeated in regular play.

  • At the Spike It Tournament, JV advanced all the way to the semifinals, proving they’re a team to watch this year.

Junior High Girls Volleyball

  • Collected two more wins: 2–1 over Heritage Academy Gateway and 2–0 against ALA Gilbert North.

  • At the Spike It Tournament, JH finished 2–2 overall, showing resilience and steady improvement in a competitive field.

Junior High Coed Soccer

  • Faced tough competition with a 0–6 loss to Heritage Academy Gateway and a 3–6 defeat to Leading Edge Academy Maricopa.

  • Continued battling and building experience as a team.
