Open to middle and high school students (6th-12th grade). No prior cheer experience required!

All required cheer, dance, and jumps will be taught during the clinics.

Athletes will also learn and practice basic stunting; stunting will not be evaluated at tryouts.

Athletes should wear athletic clothing and shoes, hair pulled back, and no long nails.

TEAM SELECTION

The team is limited to 12 athletes.

Selections will be based on execution of the taught material, timing, effort, attitude, coach-ability, and ability to work as part of a team.

Team selections will be announced Wednesday, September 23 via EVAC email.

TEAM COMMITMENT

Athletes selected for the team are required to attend:

Practices every Tuesday & Wednesday, 3:30–5:00 PM
Home varsity basketball games once the game schedule is released
Absences should be limited to illness, emergencies, or circumstances approved by the coach.

New cheerleaders should expect approximately $400 in required gear, including uniform, cheer shoes, bow, poms, and other team items.
