VARSITY GIRLS AND BOYS BASKETBALL FUNDRAISER

**TIME TO CLEAN OUT YOUR CLOSETS!**

(EVAC Varsity Girls and Boys Fundraising Opportunity)

Both the Varsity Girls and Boys basketball teams will be traveling to California in late January to compete in the Western District Homeschool Basketball Tournament.  In order to raise money for the trip the teams are going to try filling a truck for Valley Big Brothers and Sisters. Big Brothers and Sisters will pay us 20¢ a pound for bags of soft goods - clothes, bedding, linen, etc. Approximately 300 large trash bags fill a truck, so it is time to clean out your closets!

Drop off for these items is scheduled for January 18th (location TBA). If you are unable to drop your items off on this date, please refer to the link below for instructions closer to that date or contact a member of one of these teams for help. We may also have a “drop off” area at home basketball games for soft goods over the next few weeks.

Types of items that can be collected:  clothing, linens, towels, blankets, stuffed animals, draperies, pillows, belts, shoes, purses.

• A lower amount of $.05 will be given for toys, games, tools, small kitchen items and small household items!

For more information or to view the flyer please contact Shari Blomquist at halfdozen@cox.net  or (602) 741-5593.
