Season: Practices begin late February with games beginning in mid-March. Post-season is the first week in May.

March Gladness Tournament: EVAC participates in the California March Gladness Tournament which occurs in mid to late March.  All players are encouraged to participate in this tournament.

Ages: Teams are targeted for junior high students in grades 7-8. 6th grade students may also tryout. Students must be 14 years or younger as of August 31. Team size and players will be determined by the coaches.

 

Tryouts: Mid-Late February

 

Practices: Two hour practices four to five times per week usually after 5:00pm. No practice on Wednesdays or Sundays.  Once the season starts teams will have no more than three games or practices per week.

 

Clinics: Off season clinics are offered in early February and occasionally in summer depending on coach availability.

 

Cost: $350 or more (estimated)

 

Coaches: All coaches are volunteers, selected one to two months before the beginning of the season.  If you are interested in coaching please contact the Athletic Director.
